Thank you to all of you who donated $22 to various charities and brought some sense of purpose to the insanity that is running 2 marathons in 2 weeks. Here are some shots of those who will be riding the “jumpseat” today at the Providence Marathon.
A huge shoutout to the Doran family that took it one step further and donated $222. I’m glad I’ll have you all along for the ride!
‘no, sweetheart, you can’t write your friends’ names all over your body. yes, baby, i know daddy does it.’
*sigh*
love from your permanent jump-seat denizen (and ‘tattoo’ artist). good luck today~!
Good Luck! Jess did a great job! You are a work of art!
WOW! This gave me goosebumps. Good luck today.
It honestly never fails to amaze me how supportive and giving the running nation is. It seems to me since I was little and first started running that running has always gone hand in hand with helping others. I think the Runner’s High I get at the end of each race is 50% running and 50% the phenomenal atmosphere created by raising funds for incredible causes. I love the idea you came up with and am so glad I could be a part of it. I know my grandmother who passed away two years ago from breast cancer loved it as well. Thanks for sharing your moment with the rest of us!
